Camilo Bevilacqua (Gaurama, September 11, 1949) is a Brazilian actor and director. He began his career in 1968 in Porto Alegre, with the piece Pique Nique no Front, by Fernando Arrabal.
Because of the repression of the lead years, he entered the School of Theater of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), in the course of dramatic art, in 1970. In college he made important pieces, such as A Lição, by Ionesco, Vestido de Bride, by Nelson Rodrigues and Hamlet, by William Shakespeare. In 1973 he won the MUTEPLA prize with the monologue The Malicious Effects of Smoking, by Anton Tchecov.
