Deirdre was born and raised in Cumberland RI into Irish-Italian, military family. As a teen, she started acting in New England and when she won best monologue and best actress at "Talent America" offers from agents and managers lured her to NYC.

She s spent four years falling in love with New York City while flexing her theater muscles studying at Fordham University in NYC where she double-majored in Theater and Psychology. Deirdre found herself in Los Angeles after an impromptu road-trip and quickly became involved with the Groundlings Improv Theater and The Steve Eastin Acting Studio. Deirdre found her first big break in Television when Sam Mendes held a casting call in NY and LA for two roles and cast her as both of them for his Directors Art Promo on HBO.
